Yolanda Presley is the youngest of six siblings, born and raised in Leesburg by her lovely mother, Lillie M. Greene. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1989 and matriculated at Bethune-Cookman College to complete her B.S. Degree in Business Administration, graduating cumlaude in 1993. She earned her Masters Degree in Management with a concentration in Leadership, from Troy University, in 2007. She has an extensive fifteen year background in credit counseling, financial empowerment, mortgage financing, leadership training and motivational speaking. She served seven and a half years, as the Housing Manager, for the City of Leesburg, a HUD certified credit counseling agency. She is currently the Education, Economic & Empowerment Pastor, at Citadel of Hope Ministries. She has sat on the Board of Directors for Hope Christian Academy, Habitat for Humanity, CROP (College Reach-out Program), Advocating 4 Kids, and the Visioning Committee for JA (Junior Achievement of Central FL.) Yolanda was also a member of the National Association of Female Professionals, the National Association of Professional Women and Black Speakers.com. She is currently a licensed Florida Real Estate Agent.
Yolanda accepted Christ into her life in 1989. It was not until 1996 that she accepted the call into ministry. She graduated from Citadel of Hope’s School of Ministry and was ordained into the office of a teacher in 1998. She has spent the last fifteen years conducting leadership trainings, financial and credit workshops, and empowerment seminars. Yolanda is also a published author, minister, entrepreneur, purpose coach, philanthropist and transformational speaker. She’s hosted “Morning Mocha” where she spent time pouring into women, helping them to their realize purpose and maximize potential. She also hosted a live show on Blog Talk Radio, which educated and empowered the listeners, to live their life by design, not by default. Yolanda has successfully branded herself as, The Purpose Coach, inspiring thousands via social media outlets and her daily blog, “Dream Again and Live”. She is a powerful, sought-after impactful speaker and coach.
Her first book, “Surviving the Struggle, Having a Faith that Won’t Quit” has inspired many to use their past failures as a motivator, to push them into purpose. She has been featured on Daily Balance w/ Kim Jacobs (Word Network), WTGL TV 45, LakeFront TV, LSCC Channel 13, WOKB 1240AM, WKSG 89.5FM, WUVS-LP 103.7FM, W.O.W. (Women Obtaining Wealth) Internet Talk Show, along with Lake Family Magazine, Vision Magazine and New Life News, to share her passion and empower God’s people. She was chosen as November’s Diva Soul Sister for 2008 and selected to represent Mrs. Leesburg, in the 2010 Ms. /Mrs. Corporate America Pageant. Her zeal for purpose comes forth through her inspirational and purpose provoking articles, published in Inspired Women Magazine, Glow Magazine, emPower Magazine and Vision Magazine. Yolanda has dedicated her life to inspiring, and motivating women and young girls, to fulfill their divine purpose and refuse to live beneath their God given privileges. Yolanda was previously awarded the summer contract, for student programs at Lake-Sumter Community College. Her assignment was to inspire, motivate and empower, middle and high school students, to dream beyond their means.
Yolanda is married to James Presley, Principal for Sumter Prep Academy. Together they have two beautiful children, Shakinah and Malachi Presley. They are the owners of BeInspired, and Yolanda is the face behind the God’s Girl Movement™. She and her husband served five years as Youth Pastors at Citadel of Hope, under the leadership of Apostle Dannie L. Williams, in Leesburg, Florida. There she hosted a youth talk show entitled: Keeping it Real. She is currently pursuing her dream, to host her own television talk & radio show: Live LIFE Now! She is determined, to empower others, to overcome obstacles and live life on purpose.
Yolanda is anointed to teach and preach the uncompromising word of God, bringing healing and hope to a hurting and hopeless generation. She is committed to using her gifts, talents and resources, to help advance the Kingdom of God and economically empower God’s people. Her desire to help economically empower people, prompted her to start the Minority Small Business Network of Central FL, Inc. The MSBN focused on educating, equipping and empowering minority small business owners, to successfully operate, nurture and grow their businesses. She offered workshops, networking socials and partnerships with local agencies, to provide technical assistance and small business support, for minority small business owners. Yolanda’s passion for people, community involvement and heart for youth, qualified her to earn the Local Title – Mrs. Corporate America/Leesburg 2010. It is with great honor that she wears that title, understanding a constant need, to empower others for success.
Yolanda published her second book: AVERAGE, The Enemy of Purpose. Dedicated to empowering people, Yolanda’s writings will compel you, to stop living beneath your privileges and understand you were created for a divine purpose, SUCCESS. She is now living out her purpose by empowering others to live out theirs. From small groups, to women conferences, to corporate retreats, Yolanda’s innate ability, to connect to her audience, empowers attendees to leave with a deeper desire to maximize their potential and live their best life.
